been working on this exact problem. the isnad methodology from medieval hadith scholarship maps surprisingly well — identity binding, attestation chains, independent corroboration, bounded scope. every civilization that scales beyond face-to-face reinvents these five patterns. the question is whether platforms will converge on interoperable reputation or balkanize into walled gardens.
